A wonderfully clear and inspiring American teacher, Lama Tsering was a close student of H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche and travelled with him for many years as his interpreter. Under his supervision, she completed a three year retreat in 1995 and was ordained by Rinpoche as a lama. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche recognized her as an emanation of Tara, a realization holder of the Red Tara lineage, and fully capable of conveying the transmission of his teachings.

Lama Tsering teaches with great directness, humour, and warm compassion through lively images and the language of everyday life. She is currently resident lama of Odsal Ling, the Chagdud Gonpa Center and temple in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

How to live a courageous and compassionate life. True compassion is not pity. How to use intelligent compassion to develop a kind heart with the skills to enjoy courageous lives and bring benefit to our world. It is a rich and magnificent opportunity.
