Waiuku Sand to Mud Fun Run

Waiuku Lions Club 34th Annual Sand to Mud Fun Run/Walk - Distance 8 km

The race commences on the beach at Kariotahi Beach so the first approximately 500 metres is on the sand. The next stage is a gruelling climb up the road to the top of the hill. Then the balance of the run is an easy to flat rural road back to the Town clock on Bowen Street.

Prize giving will be held at 12.30 at the Waiuku Cosmopolitan Club where there will be a sausage sizzle and drinks.

There will be medals for : 1st Male/Female : 1st Secondary Boy/Girl
1st primary Boy/Girl : 1st School Team
Also King and Queen of the Hill.
There will also be a Major prize draw and spot prizes.

Registration at the Waiuku Cosmopolitan Club – Victoria Avenue.
Time First registration 7.30am - Last registration 9.25am

Free buses will be available to the start line at Kariotahi Beach. 1st bus will leave at 8 am. Last bus will leave at 9.30am. Please note : no pushchairs will be transported on the buses.

Entry : Adults $10, Children and Students $5.
Proceeds to local youth activities.
