Gumbo is a blues band with strong jazz leanings. Sometimes it’s a jazz band playing blues. The rhythm section of Owen Kneebone (drums) and Glyn Frewin (bass), with John Wilcox (piano) are pure swinging jazz. The top end of Jack Craw (harmonica, vocals) and Neil Finlay (guitar, vocals) play blues from driving to sweet, New Orleans to Chicago and rhythm-driven. A real mess of gumbo!
