Welcome back to the TV3 Jazz Village – our very own version of New Orleans’ French Quarter.
An absolute crowd pleaser at its debut in 2009, the Jazz Village delivers entertainment for everyone in true New Orleans style. Set in the unique Historic Village on 17th Ave, more than 20 bands on 4 stages will delight you and visitors from near and far.
Join the revelry on the streets, stroll through food and art stalls, fall in behind the Louisiana-style marching band or relax with space on the lawn in front of the large outdoor stage with non-stop foot stomping music. Bring the children for a drumming workshop or interact with musicians and instruments at Huckleberry’s Hutt.
A day at the TV3 Jazz Village is a family day-out like no other.
The line up of bands at the village include top New Zealand musicians Kokomo, Torch Songs, Shaken Not Stirred, Darcy Perry Band and international guest appearances by Yggdrasil (Faroe Islands), Phil Tweed and Mark Lochett (Australia), and Mike Cooper (UK).
