"Kane Sole has always had a close affinity with the ocean, and well could be expected. Raised on NZ's rugged West-Coast beaches, it is a constant source of inspiration for his music.

Writing simple songs about life's complexities, he draws on subjects such as love, family, and home. While his favored influences are clearly present, Kane has stamped his mark on the Acoustic Folk genre with his unique flair.

Having first picked up the guitar at 14, Kane's love affair with Acoustic music blossomed, and like many budding musicians, spent hours locked away tinkering with its beautiful intricacy's.
Fast forward to 2009.

Throw in some music studies, a pinch of international travel, loads of ups and a few too many downs. Kane has set up base in Melbourne, Australia.

Gigging regularly with his band, and soaking up Melbourne’s thriving music scene, Kane is now on the cusp of his debut album “Tree Little Words” – due for release Late 2010.

September sees the release of his Single, and uplifting little bbq accompaniment, “Walk Like That”. The b-side to the single is “We Went Cold” which gives a little moreinsight into the album, and is a fine display of the growing chemistry between Kane and his percussionist Ms Sunshine.
