Mel Parsons with Dylan Storey

Tui nominated singer/songwriter Mel Parsons returns to Auckland for a night of indie-folk at Juice Bar with the support of local rocker Dylan Storey.

The show coincides with the release of the music video for the track 'Still Life', from Parsons acclaimed debut album 'Over My Shoulder'. Parsons has a spark that rarely disappoints in a live setting, and, armed with a swag of instantly catchy songs presents a show ranging from rollicking & country inspired right down to the mellow and heartfelt.

Fresh from supporting the Mountain Goats, Dylan Storey will be performing a stripped down version of his "psychedelic blues/country/rock/kiwi" sound, with an acoustic set featuring Sam Prebble (AKA Bond Street Bridge) and local another starlet - singer/songwriter Reb Fountain. Storey is gigging songs from his critically acclaimed album “Out of the Soup” as well as road testing new material for a new EP tentatively titled “The Power of Suggestion”.
