On Saturday April 17th, a crew of scurvy buccaneers will commandeer the R Tucker Thomson, a tall ship of modest reputation, to carry them on a buccaneering adventure around the historic bay of islands. Boarding actions, treasure hunts, plank walking and a fair amount of shipboard action are guaranteed.

This is a last minute chance to join this mutinous covey of corsairs. 12 spaces remain to be filled, and pirates of all ages are welcome. All you require is a thirst for adventure and a desire to do something different to end the season. Simple or elaborate, a pirate costume is essential.

One of the islands in the bay will have treasure buried on it, and maps will be available to all interested parties. One word of warning though, no one map will show all the clues, nor will all maps lead to treasure. A true team effort is required for success.

The following is covered in the ticket price of $150: Day cruise on the Pirate Ship, treasure hunt (and treasure), morning tea, lunch, barbecue dinner, ferry transfer to and from Russell and one night's shared accommodation.
