Taranaki will again play host to the Carbon Art New Zealand Wave Sailing (windsurfing) Nationals.
New Zealands top wave sailors will be competing in an elimination event for the title of top sailor in the categories of open, women's and youth (under 20).
The format comprises 2 sailors competing in each heat to perform the best combination of wave jumping and riding manoeuvres within a set period of time in an elimination format with one sailor going forward to the next round.
The event will travel each day to the most suitable wave sailing location around the Taranaki coastline - be prepared for a spectacular and intense display of aerial tricks and surfing prowess - spectators are welcome.
