- Individuals can pay at registration on the day: $30.00
- Teams can pay at registration on the day: $75.00

The South Westland Triathlon is now in its 21st year and continues to welcome novices and experts alike!
Starting in the township of Franz Josef, this fun Triathlon will take you on the following course:
Run 9km
Starting from the Community Centre in the township of Franz Josef triathletes will run along SH6 to Jetty Bay at Lake Mapourika. Juniors start from Donavan Heights (5km).
Kayak 5km
Triathletes will then paddle out of Jetty Bay following buoys as markers, eventually reaching Otto’s Corner (picnic area). Juniors paddle a shorter route (3km).
Cycle 19km
The final leg of this Triathlon involves cycling north along SH6 to the township of Whataroa, ending at the Whataroa Domain.
Once all triathletes have completed the race, either individually or as part of a team, everyone is invited to join the after function at the Whataroa Domain for a well deserved rest and feed.
