The Corbans Estate Arts Centre present Under Scrutiny, an exhibition by Melissa Anderson Scott and guests, on display from 16th April - 23rd May 2010.
Featuring works by Melissa Anderson Scott; Elizabeth McRae - Actor; Beth Serjeant - Print & Book Maker; Peter Lange - Sculptor; Chiara Corbelletto - Sculptor; John Lyall - Artist; Catherine Hammond - Author & Arts Librarian; Louise Porter - Fabric Artist; Deborah Smith - Photographer; and Lucy Scott - Art Therapy Student.
An exhibition that explores the relationship between sitter and artist, observed and observer. Both artist and her ‘sitters’ present work that reflects a part of the complex relationship and process that occurred while they were both “under scrutiny”.
Exhibition opening: Thurs 15th April form 6pm.
Join us for ARTSPEAK Thursday 22nd April, 6.30pm.
Melissa Anderson Scott, Artist John Lyall, and other ‘sitters’ will meet to discuss the process and concept behind Under Scrutiny.
