Foxton Easter Sunday Fair is now in it's 20th year of operation being one of the largest single day events in the Horowhenua attracting crowds of 10 to 12 thousand people from all over the North Island.

This Fair usually has over 200 stalls selling a huge variety of goods along with rides and bouncy castles to keep the kids amused.

Our main stage supports top artists from New Zealand and overseas and can guarantee lively music and acts for the whole family.

This Easter we have The "mermaids" Band from Auckland supported by Martin Winch on Guitar and also "in Like Flynn" a foot stomping Irish band from Wellington. These are top Kiwi performers and sure to please the majority of folk attending the Fair.

Well folks, our Easter Fair was one of the most successful events over the past 19 years. The morning started off with light rain and overcast but then fined up for the rest of the day. 'In Like Flynn' kicked off the entertainment with some great Irish ballads and got the crowd in a good mood for the day. Next was 'The Mermaids' from Auckland with some of the best vocal harmonies I've heard in some time.
Both Bands did a great job in entertaining the large crowd of listeners and Dave Key our compare kept the patrons informed with all that was going on around the fair ground...It was a great day and approx 11 thousand folk through the gates.
