The CCS Disability Action South Island Independence Games combine athletics, swimming and triathlon events for young people (8-17yrs) with disabilities from throughout the South Island.
Eight regional teams will be competing with the very best athletes selected for the Parafed elite development squad and potential international success.
The Parafed regional athletics and swimming championships will take place in conjunction with the Independence Games.
This is your chance to see some of New Zealand's finest Parafed athletes - including gold medal winners from the Beijing Paralympics.
The Games are FREE for spectators!
