The Terrace Downs Defi

New Zealand’s freshest new adrenaline filled multi-sport event has been announced and will happen on April 24th 2010 at Canterbury’s own Terrace Downs High Country Resort. The inaugural Terrace Downs Defi will excite and challenge competitors to enjoy and experience the ultimate High Country elements in a race of endurance, exhilaration and speed.

Teams and individuals will kayak the stunning Rakaia River, road and mountain bike kilometres of exigent terrain set at the foot of the towering Southern Alps and finish with a triumphant run into Canterbury’s premiere Golf Resort. Competitors will cover more than 160 kilometres of pure New Zealand landscape for their slice of over $10,000 in cash prizes in addition to Terrace Downs packages and sponsor goodies!
