“Bash, by Neil Labute, is a gripping set of three one act plays,” says Director Andrew Kaye. “I read it in one sitting - I just couldn't put it down.”
Each of the three stories in BASH revolves around a chilling act of violence, and explores the situations that create that sort of pressure. For the Cambridge Autumn Festival last year Andrew directed a sellout season of 'The Shape of Things' (also by Neil Labute). Andrew loves working with small casts; really honing each performance to make it come alive. He continues, “I have a deep respect and appreciation for the writing of Neil Labute. He gives great insight into how we think and feel, digging beneath the surface of what we say without forcing any simple conclusions on us.”
Book via Wright's Bookstore, Victoria Street, Cambridge.
