Fille Ensorcellee is a collaboration of imagery by three female photographers that have produced works around the theme of Woman.
Come and enjoy the visual celebration of womanhood and femininity from Calypso Paoli, Annabel Cousins and Tiffany Morgan.
Paoli'is (an Elam graduate) main passion lies in fictional and documentary photography. She thrives on shooting film with older models of cameras. Avoiding digital at any opportunity, Paoli displays a classic approach in her aesthetic.
Cousins, (currently completing her fourth year of Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Whitecliffe), prefers the use of digital and primarily centres her focus on portrait photography. Cousins is currently working on performance in self -portrait. She also has a strong interest in snapshot method of constantly documenting curiosities she comes across day to day.
Morgan (Unitec graduate) chooses to involve herself in the use of both digital and film as her media. Morgan is inspired by a fascination of recording people, whether it be in sport, portraiture or a candid form. She is drawn to the idea of capturing emotion, time, and life in a narrative style.
This petite display illustrates the variety that can be interpreted by different artists when presented the same theme.
