Comedy - Confirmed -MAD is what actually happened to Rob Callaghan, he had thought it was possible for many years of his young life, based on the life he led, he escaped the attentions of the Mental Health Services by being a Stand Up comedian for many years.
Then in 2003, at 10pm one dark Sunday night, a loud knock came on the front door, 5 policeman, 3 nurses and 2 doctors removed him from the comfort on his own sofa to one in Te Whetu Terawa, the new mental wing of Auckland Hospital. Follow Rob as he takes you on his journey from Stand Up comedian to insanity and back again. Rob has been back on the comedy stage for 2 years, and is ready to tell his story.
