New Zealand's premier children's entertainment act 'The Funky Monkeys' are bringing their live musical extravaganza to town!
Energetic performers Joe, Neil, Chris and their cheeky-but-loveable mascot, Dizzy Dog, have already entertained hundreds of thousands of Kiwi families across the nation. Performer Chris Lam Sam (aka Chris Monkey) says 'It's high time some of the towns that have never seen our act before get a chance to have fun with us too.'
The Funky Monkeys began writing children's music and entertaining in 2003. They have since released two albums, one DVD, and have won the NZ APRA award for 'Best Children's Music Video' in 2008.
When asked what their secret to popularity with kids is, Lam Sam says 'There are three things children universally enjoy: dancing, singing and laughing. Our shows have always been created around encouraging interaction with the crowd, letting kids be kids, and providing wholesome entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.'
The Funky Monkeys show includes an energetic blend of original music, dance, magic, mayhem and their renown GIANT bubbles!
Allow 60 minutes, with a chance for children to meet the performers after the show.
