A Montana Poetry Day prize-winning wordsmith, Russell has spent a lifetime in pursuit of excellence. In this instance he couples beautiful images of our native NZ birds with equally beautiful verse.
A rabid environmentalist, Russell has spent long hours in the bush building relationships with the native birds he photographs in their natural habitat.
