Anthony Byett - BSocSc Waikato, Dip. Soc. Sci., M. Com. Economist at fxmatters and former ASB Chief discusses The NZ dollar: its role in coping with the global economic crisis, and the influence of the crisis on its future'
One way or another, the NZ dollar touches us all. For some it helped cope with the global financial crisis. Right now, it is not proving so helpful for the agriculture sector - that too is linked to the global situation. Take time out to explore these global forces on the NZ dollar, and, in turn, the NZ dollar influence on the NZ economy. The lecture may not provide an answer to where the NZ dollar goes next, but it will have you better prepared.
Cash bar open from 5.30pm
