Waterford Birth Centre Fun Run & Walk

Waterford Birth Centre Fun Run & Walk is part of the Gallagher Great Race activities organised by Boathouse Events.

The Waikato community is invited to join the Gallagher Great Race rowing crews and participate in the 7km fun run or walk in order to raise money for Hospice Waikato. You might even want to use this as an excuse to train and get fit!

All fitness levels are welcome and the event is fully appropriate for adults, kids and families. You can walk, jog, run, push a buggy or even participate in fancy dress!.

The Rowers Arms will have a special brunch menu on offer for those waiting for the participants to finish. Relax at The Rowers Arms, take in the history of the Gallagher Great Race while enjoying brunch.

Entry: $10 per person

Registration: 8.30-9.45am, The Rowers Arms, Hood St, Hamilton

Fun Run Begins: 10am

Course: A 7km loop course starting from Hood St heading south along the river path to Cobham Bridge and back up to Claudelands Bridge to finish on Grantham St.
