What does a girl need to flourish in an image-driven world? Understanding our task as parents and caregivers in guiding our daughters through to adulthood is a challenge. Girls' creativity and natural strengths can easily be lost in the pressure to grow up fast in our media-saturated culture. This seminar will share research and information as well as great ideas to encourage you to grow secure, centred and optimistic daughters, who will take their place in the world with dignity and confidence.
Presented by John and Naomi Cowan. John and Naomi come from a background of youth work and counselling. Their relaxed style of communication, combined with a highly developed sense of humour, means they relate to parents from all walks of life.
