A gathering of Scottish heritage to mark World Parks Day 2009; with performances by The Auckland & District Pipe Band, the Scottish Celtic Music Group, demonstrations of Scottish country dancing, a West Highland 'Westie' Terrier dog parade and Clan Campbell representatives will honour the home land of Sir John Logan Campbell, who gifted Cornwall Park to New Zealand in 1901. Bring a picnic along and enjoy your park.
