Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra at Real Groovy

Real Groovy AK and the Rock Factory are proud to present the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra, playing this Friday lunchtime in-store for free.

The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra will be performing songs from their brand new Dreaming EP at a rare Auckland appearance in-store at Real Groovy Queen Street this Friday 11th September.

Renowned for their sing-a-long favourites, snazzy dress sense, heavenly harmonies, blazing solos and madcap banter, the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra lovingly interprets hit songs across the musical generations through the four-stringed ukulele.

With two CDs already under their belt, they're heading off on a national tour later this month armed with their new Dreaming EP. On sale from Monday 28th September, the EP features crowd favourites committed to tape at Roundhead Studios.

Real Groovy is also selling tickets to their Auckland shows (Oct 22 and 23 at Montecristo Room). A consistent sell-out act, they provoke an undignified scramble for tickets wherever they show up, so it would pay to snap yours up early.
