Vintage Road Show
September 12

Modelled loosely on the popular TV programme Antiques Road show, this fun event presents valuations and appraisals of ‘your treasures’ by noted local historian Edward Bennett.

People have dug deep in their cupboards donating hoarded treasures from the 50s, 60s, 70s AND 8Os. Western Bays Community Board Chairperson Bruce Kilmister will auction all the donated items at 2 pm.

Swap recipes, practice your homecrafts and sample hand baked delights with local artisans. Hunt for bargains at stalls of retro collectibles, recycled art and Kiwiana craft in the faded gothic splendour of the Methodist Church Hall.

You will be greeted by celebrity hosts Robyn Malcolm and Green Party co-leader Russel Norman.

The Vintage Road Show will open from 10 – 4 pm on Saturday 12 September at the Pitt St Methodist Church, at 78 Pitt St, just off K Road.
