Susan Gai Dowling at The Gables Tavern is proudly hosted by the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club

Susan Gai Dowling the singer with “the power and passion of a full house at Eden Park” (sic), will again cross the ditch for a tour of the North Island in late September.

In Auckland Susan will be performing with Mike Walker, Frank Gibson jnr. and Pete McGregor.

Before her Auckland gigs Susan will be the featured artist for the Hamilton Jazz Club on Sunday September 27 and will sing at several other smaller venues around Wanganui.

As the Sydney Morning Herald jazz critic John Shand wrote of Susan: “She is a singer whose natural habitat for self expression is a real jazz band.”
