OdESSA – one of New Zealand’s most electrifying live music acts of the decade (actually, make that ever) have decided to call it quits.
After seven years, over four-hundred magic, sweat-drenched shows, four guitarists, two albums, and many, many tours up and down the country – not to mention countless split pairs of pants – the four current members are closing the chapter with what they do best – one last round of live shows.
The sensational, liquid-limped showman Matthew Pender fronts this explosively funky group of Paul Mouncey on bass, Al Campbell on guitar and Matt Swain on drums, plus special guests, to play their cult classic garage-funk songs ‘Bring The Money Back’, ‘Sugarpop’, ‘I Could Beat You In A Fight’, ‘Bleeder’ and ‘Promises, Promises’, and many, many others in what guarantees to be an unforgettable party.
