Kura Kōrero | Tautala – The Gift of Speech
In honour of our city’s vibrant history and colour, The Mika Haka Foundation in Association with Auckland City Heritage Festival and the K Rd Business Association is pleased to present the inaugural spoken word series Kura kōrero|Tautala - The Gift of Speech.
Featuring renowned poet, orator and Nesian Mystic collaborator Mua Strickson Pua, guitarist and godfather of New Zealand reggae Tigi Ness as well as Alex Tarrant Keepa, Kura Kōrero|Tautala – The Gift of Speech offers performances of spoken word, rap to beats and grooves about Auckland’s urban heritage as told by Auckland’s native wordsmiths.
