In his new book 'How We Saw the War, 1939-1945 Through New Zealand Eyes', Ron Palenski vividly recreates the war years through newspaper stories on everything from Charles Upham to the Maori Battalion, to tales of the homefront.

Well-reknowned author Ron Palneski will be talking about his book at this special event at the Auckland Central City Library.
