Alex Churchill's Augmented Trio at The Gables Tavern is proudly hosted by Auckland Jazz and Blues Club

Alex Churchill (Saxophones)
Adam Fuhr (Piano/Keys)
Nick Taylor (Bass)
Cameron Sangster (Drums)

Nick, Cameron and Alex are jazz students at the New Zealand School of Music and Adam is an engineering student from Auckland Uni.

The group won awards for the "Best Jazz Combo" and "Most Outstanding Jazz Band" at the 2009 New Zealand Youth Jazz Competition at the Tauranga Jazz Festival.

Alex also won “Most Outstanding Musician”.
