What is the Real Art Roadshow?
Two mobile art galleries in a giant unfolding truck's that travels to secondary schools throughout New Zealand. The Real Art Roadshow brings real art to people who might not otherwise get the chance to see, get up close and feel inspired by such awesome works.
92,779 visitors have been wowed by the originality and scope of these collections, each representing over 60 New Zealand artists, working in exciting and challenging media including sculpture, photography, jewellery and installation art.
In time for New Zealand Book Month, Real Art Roadshow The Book is being released to support this non profit initiative, all proceeds will go back into the running of the show - check with your local book store now or buy a copy from the trucks when they stop in Wellington to help keep us trucking.
