Favourites:
54 of New Zealand's finest young school-aged singers make up the New Zealand Secondary Students' Choir. Directed by Andrew Withington, they gather each school holiday to train, rehearse and perform. This Wellington concert will include classical choral music by Haydn, Mendelssohn and Brahms, jazz and Gershwin and New Zealand music by Wehi Whanau, Richard Oswin, Douglas Mews, David Childs and Leti Leu’u.
The varied repertoire presents something for all ages, and may particularly inspire young singers towards achieving this level of excellence.
