Six remarkable kiwi identities, six top homegrown choreographers and six of the best dancers this country can offer. Together, they create six riveting new dance works as Footnote Dance premières its new 2009 Forte Season.*
Striking out in a new direction for Footnote Forte, this season presents for the first time the Solo Series, an adventurous multi-venue journey through performance that delivers exciting dance in exciting new spaces.
Choreographed by Michael Parmenter, Malia Johnston, Maria Dabrowska, Sarah Foster, Ross McCormack and Kristian Larsen, the works are inspired by notable New Zealanders Ladyhawke, Philip Dadson, DLT, Freda Stark, Len Lye and Douglas Lilburn.

*Note: Starting at Circa Theatre, the multi-venue performance travels to the Museum Hotel, Cable Street, and then to Hooch Bar, Courtenay Place.
