Halloween Party ft Kiri Eriwata, Ian Simpson, Nikki Ngatai

On the eve of Halloween - Artworks Theatre will be transformed to make you shiver...

Songstress Kiri Eriwata returns to Waiheke headlining with a high energy band for an evening promised to attract a blood curdling, knife wielding, zombiefied audience. This will be an edgy collaboration with Auckland group Payola on guitar, bass and backing vocals. Their rock and roll swagger is a statement prevalent in their sound and with 20 year old drummer Swap Gomez who has already performed with Vernon Reid (Living Colour) and Uli Jon Roth (Scorpions), expect an explosive on stage sound and vintage visuals lurking in suspense!

Support act Ian Simpson, Nikki Ngatai and band respectively are eager to feed the hungry spectators a dynamic performance. Award winning singer/songwriter & local event organiser Ian Simpson is known for his 'Acoustic Cafe' evenings at Nourish and the versatile singer/songwriter Nikki Ngatai (SWOON) will be supported by band members Chris Orange on bass/double bass (The Features, The Terrorways) and highly sought after local drummer Miles Gillett (Fluf). Look forward to soaring harmonies and searing guitars from this tight quartet of tortured musicians.

DJ Brenna will battle it out till the end, keeping you up til the witching hour.

Anticipate sightings of creatures from the crypt and music from tormented souls. Let your inner demon loose The Night Before Halloween....mwoah ha ha ha!
