Faure's Requiem

Voices New Zealand are our top choir. They have sung at concerts nationally and internationally to high critical acclaim and won gold and silver awards at the Tolosa International Choral Competition in Spain.

Led by musican director Dr Karen Grylls, the choir presents a programme of contrasting halves. The first half is pure voice, with no musical accompaniment, while for the second half, the choir is joined by the leading orchestra of Waikato and the Bay of Plenty - Opus
- conducted by Dr Peter Walls.

Together they give us the ethereal beauty of Fauré’s Requiem, the most widely loved setting of this memorial tribute. The soloists are Pepe Becker and Kieran Rayner. It’s impossible not to be moved by this exquisite music.
