Ponsonby’s Western Park will be transformed into a free virtual exhibition for a unique one-day event on Saturday 17th October, in a collaboration between ABSOLUT VODKA and inspirational New Zealand artists.
Following the philosophy of ‘Doing things differently leads to something exceptional’, ABSOLUT has commissioned a collective of cutting-edge New Zealand artists and designers working in every media from film, paint and paper to silver, wood and even skin. The exhibition will showcase the artists’ creativity, bringing the original works to life for all visitors.
The ABSOLUT COLLABORATION virtual exhibition will include:
Word art by The Cut Collective
Skin art by Dermagraphics tattooist Hal Cheshire
Film by artist Matt Oak
Sculpture by renowned artist Anna Korver
Photography by New Zealand’s foremost fashion and documentary photographer, Tim White
Jewellery by Robinsons Design Goldsmith, Ken, Michael and David Robinson, in collaboration with Dan Move
Design by Friends of Design creative director Ian Ferguson
ABSOLUT COLLABORATION, located at Ponsonby’s Western Park, will be open to the public and free of charge from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 17th October 2009.
Children under the age of 18 will be expected to be accompanied by an adult inside the venue.
