Dolphin Theatre is pleased to announce the return of the One Act Play season to its programme for 2009. Come and enjoy these three exciting plays, (all performed at each session).

One Day At the Zoo

Directed by Annie Whittaker
Take one family. Remove them from everything they know and are familiar with. Watch what happens when they become the focal point of a visit to the zoo. “One Day At The Zoo” is a fascinating exploration of how an ordinary family handles an extra-ordinary situation. Lots of drama, and quite a few laughs, too!

A Shot In the Dark

An average loser finds today he has more confidence than he’s ever had before. It leads him to lunch, a date with a beautiful woman, an alleyway, and tonight, a bar called The Ball and Chain. What else could possibly happen?

An Actors Nightmare
Written by Christopher Durang.
Directed by Peter Allen-Baines and Melissa Fergusson
An unsuspecting accountant wanders accidentally onto the stage during a performance and is mistaken for a fellow actor. At first he is confused when the actors throw lines at him expecting a response, but is gradually drawn into the action, and improvises on his own.
