Two sessions by popular demand - 11am and 2pm.
Join Brian Scadden and his replica travelling Victorian darkroom for some photographic fun! Using a process invented in 1854, Brian will demonstrate how to create wet-plate photographs. Don’t miss your chance to pose for a tintype photograph – there are only a handful of artists working with this technique in the world!
This event is part of the 'Fixated: Photography Through History' exhibition at Puke Ariki (31 July – 26 October 2009).
