Model-makers and hobbyists from Hawkes Bay gather to present their hobby to the public in both Gymnasiums and the swimming-pool at Napier Boys' High School during the weekend.
Outside on the grounds there is a Radio-control Car Club display, and inside there are displays of model railways, aircraft, cars and trucks, wargaming, dolls houses, toy soldiers, miniature crafts, bonsai, weaving and knitting, meccano and more.
Pool-side you can see Radio-control boats and yachts. The expo is a fund-raiser for students to gain language experience in Japan.
