We are delighted to present the debut season of Christchurch's brand new contemporary dance company, Southern Lights.
With the support of Creative New Zealand and the Christchurch Arts Centre’s Artist in Residency Programme, ‘Southern Lights Dance Company’ presents three new works by New Zealand choreographers Shona McCullagh and Fleur de Thier and American choreographer Zöe Scofield (Arts Centre Artist in Residence).
Featuring some of New Zealand’s finest dancers - Will Barling, Charene Griggs, Julia Milsom, Hannah Tasker Poland, Erica Viedma and Nancy Wijohn - this promises to be a splendid night of contemporary dance and a chance to be present at the first season of this new and exciting company.
