The major annual cultural event, the Korean Culture Festival 2009 held by the Korean Society of Christchurch is coming.
Last year this event succeeded beyond all expectations with over 3000 crowds from all areas around the city.
The festival will showcase the essence of the 5,500 year old cultural heritage; Korean music, arts, and traditional folk dance performances. It will offer visitors the opportunity to savour the culinary delight of Korean cuisine as well. As the sole host of this event, the Korean Society of Christchurch and 5,500 Korean people from the local community would be really delighted if any community would participate in this event.
There will be cultural performances from other ethnic communites including Phillippines and Kenya, foodstalls and games and raffles.
