Dennis Andreassend of Nelson is South Island champion in his Cougar Evo class one race car. Troy Tufnell is North Island champion in his VW Challenger race car. Daniel Powell of Christchurch is the defending national champion. Anything can happen when the north meets the south at the Radio Hauraki Offroad Raceway, West Melton.
