An awesome event for youth with graf art, break dance, hip hop and music.
Morning workshops in break dance and hip hop will be presented by guest tutors (registration essential). The hip hop workshop will be presented by Parris Goebel from ReQuest Hip Hop Crew, who were recently gold medal winners of the Varsity Division at the 2009 World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Las Vegas. The bboy / bgirl workshop will be presented by Solomon Smith.
This is followed by intense three on three competitions from the hottest crews and an all-day graf art session. The competitions are open to the public – so get all your family and friends together – there’s $3000 in prize money up for grabs for the most talented in each genre.
The evening finishes with an all out celebration of NZ music headlined by Nesian Mystik. The concert is from 6-8pm.
