Celebrating excellence in three-dimensional design.
The OBJECTive Art Awards exhibition brings together a carefully-selected group show of object art from the handmade to the highly designed.
The awards night on Friday 30 October acknowledges the winning works, selected by this year’s guest judge, Carin Wilson. Now in its third year, OBJECTive is attracting the growing attention of New Zealand artists and designers, well-known for their innovation and creativity. The resulting exhibition showcases the workmanship and commitment that goes into each artist’s practice.
An accompanying exhibition will be held at the Mangere Arts Centre to acknowledge the quality and high standard of the many artists who enter the awards, but are not successful in the final selection. All works at both venues will be for sale.
