Book Month will be celebrated with a touch of nostalgia in Takapuna, where the activities are centred around the book, Way Back Then Before We Were Ten in which four famous New Zealanders reminisce about their childhoods. Coinciding with Heritage week, the celebratory book launch is an afternoon tea, themed and decorated in old-fashioned birthday party style, and featuring food that brings back memories such as hedgehogs and fairy bread. There will be a Rhyme Time session for toddlers, themed around the number ten.
