Be a part of the release of 180 vibrant and colourful kites.
Come along and bring your families to this great kite flying event at the city’s newest park, Barry Curtis Park.
The kite festival brings together different cultures, celebrating the diversity of Manukau through kite flying. Workshops will be held at participating schools across Manukau, as well as workshops on site on the day. The design of the kites will be based on the colours of Manukau Festival of Arts.
Guest kite makers and flyers will be onsite on the day to showcase some of their stunning designs as part of the Colour the Sky kite festival.
