The New Zealand Art Sale is opening up new opportunities for New Zealand artists to expose their creative works to Aucklanders.
The New Zealand Art Sale takes place from 9am to 6pm on the 3rd-4th of October, 2009 at Alexandra Park, in Greenlane, Auckland. The event provides Aucklanders with the chance to find quality and original New Zealand art with more than 300 artworks from emerging and established New Zealand artists.
Artworks are priced to be affordable to the public with the majority of art priced between $100 and $1000. Oil, acrylic, and watercolour art will be on display as well as photography, mixed media, and sculpture.
Entry to the event is just $10 and includes free car parking onsite. Help support New Zealand artists by coming along and purchasing an original piece of art.
A charity evening is occurring on Saturday 3rd of October between 6-9pm with all profits from charity artworks going to a nominated charity. Tickets to the evening are only $35 and include refreshments and the opportunity to meet a number of artists who have donated artwork for charity.
