Holland House Children's Day

Sunday October the 4th is World Animal Day and we are celebrating this with a special children’s day at Holland House. Old MacDonald’s farm will be coming to Holland House to keep the kids entertained while the adults celebrate ‘Leidens Ontzet’ with broodje haring, kaas and kroketten.

The cost of the day is $8 per child, there will be face painting and children’s games, Old MacDonald will be in the back garden offering pony rides and food to feed the animals. It’s sure to be a great day to bring the kids and grandchildren.

4 October Dierendag en Leiden’s ontzet in het Holland Huis in Auckland

Een gecombineede viering van Wereld Dierendag en Leiden’s Ontzet (3 Oct.). De club heeft een programma georganiseerd dat speciaal op de kinderen gericht is met allerlei spelletjes uit grootmoeder’s tijd; hinkelen, tollen, krijten, ganzeborden, sjoelen, allemaal spelletjes die we speelden toen de wereld wijde web nog onbekend was en computers alleen door overheden en andere grote organisaties gebruikt werden. Er zijn ook echte levende dieren aanwezig in de achter tuin in de vorm van Old McDonald Mobile Farm.
