Delight all your senses with the exciting sounds, kaleidoscopic colours and fragrant spices of the Indian Diwali Festival of Lights. Bring all the family to enjoy pulsating Bollywood rhythms, magical Rajasthani puppets, and delicious indian curries, mango lassis and other delights from dozens of food stalls. Overseas performers include a colourful dance troupe from Gujarat, india. The annual Diwali Festival is one of the most ancient and popular of all the Indian Festivals, signifying the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and renewal of life. The Diwali Festival is brought to you by Asia New Zealand Foundation and Auckland City Council.
