The biggest celebration of pulp culture just got bigger!
Auckland’s Armageddon Expo is back for another year and has moved to the ASB Showgrounds, taking over a huge five-hall space with more events, contests and gaming than ever before. Featuring Comics, Animation, Computer and Console games, TV and Movie Stars, Sports, Wrestling, Music and much more.
The 2009 expo brings you big name Movie and TV stars like Seth Green (Robot Chicken), Amanda Tapping (StarGate), Noah Grey-Gabey (Heroes), as well as the entertaining Michael Winslow – the famous voice from Police Academy.
Other amazing events include the biggest pillow fight ever in Auckland; see if your stomach can handle the eating competitions, or grab your favourite costume and head along to the Masquerade Ball.
With three days of ultimate entertainment, the best gaming displays, new technology, film screenings, wrestling, roller derby, live music with Savage and more all happening this Labour weekend, you’ll need to take the Tuesday off to recover!
