Sick Disco presents…
Sick Disco - Halloween Special
“Official Lady Hawke After Party”
Saturday 31st of Oct @ Cassette Number Nine
DJs
North Shore Pony Club
The North Shore Pony Club are a genre bending block party band who busted down from the over ground at the beginning of 2005.
Disillusioned by the glam hop and chic rock currently smearing the face of popular music, we are here to pour accelerant on the smoldering embers of dance culture. As a couple of kids reared on 80's pop sophistication our music is an amalgamation of black gold and white trash mixed up in a disco blender.
Cyril Orson
Orson arrived in Auckland three years ago from France and has since caused quite a stir. He’s played along side the best visiting international DJs and stunned the Auckland club scene with his ‘Soniktonik’ nights at Ink and Coherent. Orson collaborates with the Strom brothers of Antix fame on the Triangle project and recently the Triangle tunes have been creating some serious hype
Nick D
George FM breakfast host. Started at 95bFM at age 13. Has been presenting music shows on TV since the mid 90s, including The Nick & Steve Show (Max), Remix (Juice TV), Stylus (M2), The Soundlab (C4). Has DJed in Australia, Singapore, South Africa. Writes and directs for television.
Maya + Vanya
Sisters, originally from Croatia. Have supported Crookers, A-Trak, Ajax, BangGang Djs, TV Rock, John Course, Goodwill, Aston Shuffle, Kasey Taylor, Bass Kleph, Magik Johnson, Greg Churchill, DJ Reno, Aural Trash. Have played Rhythm and Vines, Ministry of Sound, Slinky, Onelove, and completetd a number of Australian tours. Promoters of the Thursday Tea Party.
Yam Jams
Yam Jams is all about buddies acting up, to a soundtrack that aims to please. Elbo-E started Yam Jams to find an audience to play all of the weird U.S. vinyl he was buying back in 2006 with DJ Manaia Toa aka Splash. When Splash decided to travel to Germany to chase a girl, Elbo-E's good friend and "Lets Dance" resident DJ Rohan St Clair stepped up to fill in and never left. Yam Jams now has morphed into something quite special, playing everything from early house, rare grooves, lush NY dance and Hip Hop and Booty Bass, always focussed on making you dance.
Back Bar hosted by Skull Candy

Happy Hour 9 – 10pm
